NJNewsHub (“we”, “us”) operates njnewshub.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you—especially for advertising and analytics in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.

What we do

We aggregate publicly available news headlines, generate original AI summaries, and link to original publishers. We do not republish full copyrighted articles.

Information we collect

  • Usage data — pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, browser/device type, and referral information.
  • Local storage — preferences such as theme, and session flags used to count article views for “Most read” rankings.
  • Search queries — terms you enter on our search page.
  • Advertising & consent signals— cookie and consent choices collected through Google’s certified Consent Management Platform (CMP) / Privacy & messaging when you are in a regulated region.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, measure performance, and prevent fraud—subject to your consent choices where required by law.

Data retention & security

Operational logs and analytics are retained only as long as needed to run and improve the service. We use reputable hosting providers (including Vercel and Supabase) with industry-standard security practices.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent. For ad-related consent, use the CMP controls. For other requests related to this site, contact us at the address below.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
